Off the Wall

Aristotle said “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” I decided to apply this notion to my photography, among other things.

I’ve always been a fan of graphic shirts, but given that my day job involves graphic design and typography, I’m a bit picky. This one from Forever 21 has the qualities I like – black and white, good font choice and type treatment. And the fact that the message is about my hometown, is the icing on the cake.

Double Leather Look

musing spot

I admit, a couple of years ago I would not have combined a leather-look skirt with a leather-look top, but leather was big for fall and judging from the spring 2013 collections, it won’t be leaving the scene any time soon. And since less is not more with this trend, I went for double. I chose similarly black sneakers to keep the whole look monochrome and casual – just the way I usually like it.
