Our last day in Dublin was bittersweet. We certainly missed home but didn’t want to leave this amazing city. We paid a visit to Kilmainham Gaol, a former prison which was the stage for many of Ireland’s tragic and heroic episodes in history. The Irish Museum of Modern Art is the same neighborhood, so we couldn’t pass the opportunity. After that, we headed to the Temple Bar neighborhood of Dublin for some much needed fish and chips. I also didn’t want to miss St. Stephen’s Green, a public park in the center of Dublin. It’s a favorite of the locals.
