Driving to work this morning, I noticed these posters of dogs and cats on a side of a building. The traffic started moving and I didn’t get a chance to read the copy, but I made a point to remember the title to research further. It turns out that NKLA is a coalition of organizations and passionate individuals dedicated to making Los Angeles a no-kill city. I was saddened to read that last year, more than 17,000 healthy or treatable animals were killed in LA city shelters. If you care about this mission, please visit the NKLA website here to donate and spread the word. I’m already on it!
